FBI identifies additional undisclosed records related to JFK assassination

The FBI has found about 2,400 new records related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy after a search directed by President Donald Trump’s executive order. Trump’s Jan. 23 executive order aimed to release more documents about the assassinations of JFK, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr.

Previously, over 2,800 records were released during Trump’s first term, but around 300 files remained classified for national security reasons. President Trump promised to unseal all documents concerning the JFK assassination during his 2024 campaign, which has many conspiracy theories surrounding it.
