Judge orders CDC, FDA to restore websites taken down after Trump gender order

U.S. District Judge John Bates ordered the restoration of webpages regarding gender ideology deleted by the Trump Administration. Bates stated that the public is strongly interested in avoiding serious injuries to public health.

Doctors for America challenged the removal of these resources, arguing it creates a dangerous gap in scientific data necessary for monitoring disease outbreaks.

Bates emphasized that the removal harms everyday Americans, especially underprivileged individuals seeking health care.

The ruling reflects increasing scrutiny from federal courts on the Trump Administration’s executive orders related to gender ideology and public health resources.
