Kamala Harris says she would oppose any exemptions, including religious, in abortion bill

Vice President Kamala Harris stated that she would oppose any exemptions, including religious, in an abortion bill. Harris emphasized that women should have the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies.
She asserted that concessions should not be made regarding fundamental freedoms like abortion. The comments came in an NBC News interview, in which Harris said she was not open to making concessions. She also said last month that she would be open to ending the filibuster to pass a national abortion bill.
