Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., reflected on the criticism she has faced during her political career, telling Semafor that she doesn’t “ give a s‑‑‑.” In the interview, Sinema said people often call her an “enigma,” but that she thinks she’s “highly predictable.” Sinema, as well as another Democrat-turned-Independent, West Virginia’s Joe Manchin, became a thorn in the side of others in her party after she began breaking with party lines on issues such as ending the filibuster and raising the corporate tax rate.
