Two more US officials resign over Biden administration’s position on Gaza war

Two more U.S. officials have resigned over the Gaza war, saying that the Biden administration is not telling the truth about Israeli obstruction of humanitarian assistance to more than two million Palestinians trapped and starving in the tiny coastal strip.

Stacy Gilbert, an official from the State Department, left citing the department’s finding that Israel was not intentionally blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza. Gilbert, who has extensive experience in global crises, believes Israel’s actions in Gaza breach international humanitarian law.
