Usha Vance Told Friends Trump Appalled Her

Usha Vance is married to Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, who is now former President Donald Trump’s running mate. Allegedly, Usha told some of her friends that she found Trump appalling, saying that her discomfort was caused in part by political choices he has made — particularly in relation to Jan. 6.

When the insurrection occurred, J.D. Vance was not yet a senator and had previously spoken against Trump.

Usha Vance has been targeted by far-right groups online, racing racist comments from white supremacist groups based off of her Indian heritage.
