I was delighted recently to have the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at the House Republican Workshop which was held in Florida.
All the Republican House members came together, led by Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who is, I think, going to be the next Speaker of the House.
They laid out a plan for how they’re going to operate, what they’re going to campaign on, and how they’re going try to govern next year when they have a majority.
I think from every poll I’ve seen, it’s very, very likely that you’re about to see a very large Republican majority, and that that will have a significant impact.
And, leader McCarthy has developed a plan to grow real commitment to America that will get all of his members engaged in doing positive things in a positive way to solve problems, and to force President Biden to choose again and again between signing or vetoing popular legislation that meets the needs of the American people, meet the needs on the price of food, the price of gasoline, the inflation rate, the crime rate, controlling the border.
So many different issues where the American people feel that government has failed and that we need a new approach. I found it to be a very exciting time. They have more candidates than they’ve ever had, more than we had in 1994 when we won a majority for the first time in 40 years.
They have a very good training program. And I think it’s very impressive what they’re doing.
So, I think you’ll find it fascinating this year to watch the development. It’s pretty clear now that the House Republicans will be a majority. And the question is how big that majority will be.
But at the rate that the economy is hurting the American people; at the rate that the Soros-elected district attorneys are releasing murderers, rapist, armed robbers, carjackers; at the rate of which we’re seeing people cross the border illegally my hunch is it’s going to be a very big year for the Republicans, and that the Democrats may face the greatest losses they’ve had since 1920.

US should eliminate taxes on server tips
In the United States, restaurant servers are paid below minimum wage and earn the majority of their incomes from tips left by customers. Even after accounting for these tips, a 2015 analysis concluded that the total median hourly income for a server in the U.S. was just $13, while bartenders earned only $9. Former President…
