For many obvious reasons, there’s a lot of increasing talk about Vice President Kamala Harris.
Not that anyone is particularly joyous to talk about Kamala Harris.
In fact, that’s kind of the problem.
In a CBS News/YouGov poll earlier this month, sixty nine percent of independents disapproved of her performance.
On another question, forty eight percent of independent voters said that her work makes them think worse of the Biden Administration.
The culture war rhetoric and radical agenda that she represents seem to alienate those voters who occupy the middle ground.
Yet, the reason there is increased focus on Kamala Harris is the reality of one simple fact – that President Biden is asking voters to keep him in the White House until he is eighty six years old.
Eighty six!
Presidential candidate Nikki Haley has said that a vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris as president.
Harris has failed at every policy assignment she has had as vice president. That’s probably a big part of why her poll numbers are so low.
But most of all, it’s because her newest role as the Culture War Ambassador for the Biden Administration has been so divisive.
And in all truth, when it comes to being divisive, that’s what Kamala Harris does best.
Since she failed at everything else, this is what they’ve decided she can do.
This is Kamala Harris.
The person who makes false allegations concerning race whenever she can.
It’s one of the reasons why you saw her act so quickly in lying about Florida’s black history education recently, trying to paint Governor DeSantis as a racist.
Trying to paint anyone she can as a racist.
A few weeks ago, we celebrated the sixtieth anniversary of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
Dr. King sought to heal the divide, to take us past the color of our skin.
We could end up with a president who does everything she can to enrage that divide, to fan the flames of racial division.
Someone set on pushing a radical cultural agenda that prioritizes leftist ideals over the well-being of our nation.
That is who Kamala Harris is.
Culture War Ambassador.
So is it any surprise that the White House announced last week that Kamala Harris is going on a “Fight for our Freedoms College Tour”
And that the first three are all Black colleges.
And that the White House proudly announced that she will discuss issues such as book bans and abortion.
Even though in an interview on Face the Nation this past week, she couldn’t even answer what she believes about abortion and what week of pregnancy abortion access should be cut off.
So, we have the vice president about to tour the country and tell thousands of impressionable college kids, many of them Black, that abortion should be allowed until the moment of birth?
Even though abortion has a long, tragic, evil history of specifically targeting the Black community and killing millions of unborn Black babies.
Again, this is Kamala Harris.
With Vice President Kamala Harris, the well of failure and regret reaches deep. If the nation must one day turn to her as our leader, it will go much, much deeper.
