Seeking catharsis during Donald Trump’s presidency, Stern began writing for newspapers and has been published in the Guardian, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Slate, Hill, HuffPost, NY Daily News, and other news media. In 2021, he was a guest speaker at Princeton University’s daily news journal, and in 2022, he received an award from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists.
