America First Legal sues AZ Sec. of State over 218k voters mis-listed as providing proof of citizenship

America First Legal has filed a lawsuit against Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes over 218,000 voters incorrectly registered as providing proof of U.S. citizenship. The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office updated the number of voters who failed to prove their citizenship to 218,000, rising from nearly 98,000.
America First Legal claims the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office has illegally withheld the list of these 218,000 voters.

A glitch in the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicle’s database marked more than 100,000 voters as having provided proof of citizenship when they had not.
