Georgia election board approves new rules that critics fear could allow certification delays

The Georgia State Election Board has approved a new rule that is raising election concerns. The new rule will supposedly help count votes properly, but some critics are saying it will cause chaos during the election result finalization process.

The rule requires county create lists of voters, then categorizing the voters by voting methods. This will allegedly resolve discrepancies before finalizing the election results.

The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and the ACLE of Georgia have both been critical of the new rule.
