Ruthless Putin must be stopped in Ukraine

Yevgeny Prigozhin’s reported death, allegedly at the hands of Russian President Vladimir Putin, is unsurprising, considering the extensive list of assassinations attributed to the former KGB head. Critics of the Russian president have reportedly been victims of poisoning, falls from balconies and windows, or have experienced mysterious “serious illnesses.”

Straight Arrow News contributor Newt Gingrich asserts that Putin is a ruthless individual who must be stopped in the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In the recent Republican presidential debate, the former Ambassador of the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said that the ambassador from Russia died while she was serving there. And she was pretty convinced that Putin had him killed. This would not be at all unlike Putin, who was, after all, a KGB officer trained to kill people, to torture people, to do whatever the Soviet state needed. But it’s almost like a spy novel. I mean, can you imagine if, in fact, Progozhin is still alive, if in fact, he figured it out and got away?

But it should also be a reminder, whatever happened to him in reality, it was certainly Putin’s intention to kill him. And by the way, Putin didn’t mind killing 10 other people on the airplane. So I think everybody who thinks it’s going to be easy to solve the Ukraine problem, it’s going to be easy to get Putin to negotiate, just remember: this man is a ruthless killer. And he’s a man trained to do that. And he has done it his whole life. And he has no doubts about staying tough, and that if you’re tough enough, long enough, you win.

That’s why making sure Russia does not win in Ukraine is very, very important to the entire civilized world.

If you have any doubts about how totally ruthless Putin is, let me tell you, the fact that you have Jenny precaution, who was the head of the Wagner group, a group of mercenaries, who were basically the fighting arm of the Russian government. He rebelled against Putin about a month ago, they cut a deal, he agreed to back down. And supposedly yesterday he was killed. Maybe there’s now rumors that there was a second plane, and that precaution who’s pretty smart about staying alive, and who has a pretty good intelligence system of his own, may have known that there was a bomb on the airplane, the rumor is that the airplane actually was had a case of wine. And that was the case of wine that had the bomb in it. Well, the new rumor is that precaution has a second plane, he was on the second plane, and he’s now disappeared. And he doesn’t want to reappear because if he reappears, Putin is going to kill him. Now, first of all, we know Putin is capable of this. We know that he killed a Russian dissident with a radioactive poison in Great Britain, just to show how far his reaches last night in the UK can say last night, in the recent Republican presidential debate, the former ambassador of the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said that the ambassador from Russia died while she was serving there. And she was pretty convinced that Putin had him killed. This would not be at all, unlike Putin, who was, after all, a KGB officer trained to kill people to torture people to do whatever the Soviet state needed. But it’s almost like a spy novel. That’s why making sure Russia does not win and Ukraine is very, very important to the entire civilized world.
