Let’s talk about the recent hearings that were held by the House of Representatives related to UFOs. And you APS unidentified flying objects and unidentified aerial phenomena. Now, I’m going to give you my general take about aliens. But first, I want to address one aspect of this that is quite political in nature. One of the general areas of politics that brings together elements of the left and right doesn’t bring the left and right together, but it brings together elements of the left and right is conspiracies. If you look at the anti Vax movement, you have elements of anti Vax historically on the left from sort of like hippie crunchy communities that are very distrustful of Big Pharma, and then you had anti Vax on the right, historically, smaller distrustful of government, with the COVID vaccine, that right wing anti backs, sentiment grew, but you have these conspiracies which can bring together elements of left and right UFOs are similar. UFOs are similar. And generally, it relates to distrust of government, for the most part, and there are people on left and right, who believe that the government is hiding proof of intelligent extraterrestrial life, that there have been crashes that there, the government is in possession of non human bodies and craft and all of these different things. My view has generally been that on the one hand, from reading enough astronomy and astrophysics and listening to what scientists have to say, I find it compelling that there is a probable reality of alien life life of some kind, alien to our planet, and realistically alien to our solar system. Why do I say that? I say that, on the basis of the estimates that have been made about the size of the universe, which may be infinite, but it’s very, very, very big. The number of galaxies and sunlike stars and earth like planets and the circumstances that we know can allow life to develop. And the potential for circumstances that we aren’t yet aware of that could also allow different forms of life to develop. If you just do the math, it seems reasonable to believe it is likely there’s life somewhere else. Now, there are though I want to limit this discussion to the science, there are those who present a religious perspective on this and the religious perspective often is something like, my religion teaches me that humans are completely unique, and are the only soul bearing entities in the entire universe. And oftentimes, religious belief, some religions have the view that animals don’t have souls, only humans do. And the universe is just for homosapiens from Earth, and that’s it, I don’t even want to address that we’re going to deal with the science and I believe the science has made a compelling argument that it is at least probable if not likely that there is some kind of life elsewhere. That gets us to the claims that were made at the UAP UFO hearings. And these are claims that some of the witnesses have made elsewhere. And these claims include people have been murdered to cover up the existence of alien contact. There have been technologies foreign to our solar system that have been filmed, recorded interacted with by military pilots and others, the government is in possession of alien bodies in Aliens, intelligent aliens from elsewhere, and a lot of other subsequent and smaller claims. Now, I, at some point, if it is true, that there are, there is life elsewhere. And if there is intelligent life elsewhere, given enough time, it’s certainly plausible that at some point, there will be a first contact of sorts. So when someone makes such a claim, I don’t immediately dismiss it, because at a certain point, if this ever happens, it might be true, someone will first tell us of the fact that this took place. However, what I have seen so far, and what has been claimed, at the UFO UAP hearings, I do not find to be compelling. I don’t find it to be compelling because there isn’t actually any real evidence. When I talk about real evidence, I mean, some kind of visual video or picture evidence that is not grainy and really could be anything and we can’t even really tell what it is. Some actual known experts in fields related to biology or metal alloys are someone who can say hey, you know what? I saw this here’s a picture of me looking at it. I’ve examined it. This metal is not of this earth. Here is a body that is not of this earth. What about radar and satellite and other imagery and data that corroborates the stories that are told, that are often so similar over decades, they continue to be very similar stories that seem often based in in fiction works of fiction. We don’t have that. Now, it is very easy to say, Well, David, we don’t have that because it’s classified because people will be killed if they publish it because it’s held held or secretly or whatever the case may be. We know that with conspiracy theories, absence of evidence is often pointed to and they go see it’s part of the cover up. At some point, someone’s going to have to prove something in some of the ways that I mentioned here, and I mentioned on my show last week, that’s where I am right now. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts.

During a recent congressional hearing, whistleblower David Grusch accused executive branch agencies of withholding information from Congress regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), formerly called UFOs. Grusch, a former military intelligence officer, said he believes the U.S. government has evidence of UAPs and has also recovered alien bodies from crash sites.
Straight Arrow News contributor David Pakman acknowledges that some aspects of Grusch’s claims might contain elements of truth, but he’ll need some real evidence before he buys into all of the whistleblower’s assertions.

Now, I’m going to give you my general take about aliens. But first, I want to address one aspect of this that is quite political in nature.
One of the general areas of politics that brings together elements of the Left and Right — doesn’t bring the Left and Right together — but it brings together elements of the Left and Right — is conspiracies. If you look at the anti-vax movement, you have elements of anti-vax historically on the Left from sort of like hippie, crunchy communities that are very distrustful of Big Pharma, and then you had anti-vax on the Right, historically smaller, distrustful of government with the COVID vaccine that right-wing, anti-vax sentiment grew.
But you have these conspiracies which can bring together elements of Left and Right. UFOs are similar. UFOs are similar, and generally, it relates to distrust of government, for the most part, and there are people on Left and Right who believe that the government is hiding proof of intelligent extraterrestrial life, that there have been crashes, that there, the government is in possession of non-human bodies and craft and all of these different things.
My view has generally been that on the one hand, from reading enough astronomy and astrophysics and listening to what scientists have to say, I find it compelling that there is a probable reality of alien life, life of some kind, alien to our planet, and realistically alien to our solar system.
