Docs: Hunter Biden businesses saw $20M in foreign dealings when Biden was VP

Learn more about this dataRepublicans on the House Oversight Committee released bank documents they say show how Hunter Biden and his business partners received millions of dollars from oligarchs in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine when Joe Biden was vice president.
The committee says they identified more than $20 million dollars in payments from foreign sources to Biden owned businesses.
That includes $3.5 million from Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina to a shell company called Rosemont Seneca Thornton – owned by Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer. From there – $750,000 to Archer, 2.7 million was sent to Rosemont Seneca Bohai bank account, used by both Archer and Biden.
In 2014, Kazakhstani oligarch Kenes Rakishev transferred $142,000 to Rosemont Seneca Bohai. The next day that money was used as payment for a sports car for Hunter Biden.
As you can see from the media miss tool on SAN.com, the majority of coverage on this story comes from outlets that lean right, just a few are considered center, and as of Wednesday afternoon, CNN was the only outlet that leans left.

The Washington Examiner reported that soon after Baturina and Rakishev made the money transfers, then Vice President Biden had dinner with both of them, Hunter and Devon Archer at Cafe Milano in Washington DC. Archer confirmed that in testimony to the committee.
The Federalist pointed out that despite President Biden’s repeated denials that he ever participated in his son’s business dealings or even spoke with his partners, records indicate Biden interacted with family business partners more than 200 times.
