Javier Milei has served as president of Argentina since December 2023. Milei has taught university courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and economics. With a prolific academic background, he authored nine books, contributed to over 50 academic papers, and gained recognition as a far-right television pundit. Since entering politics, Milei has devoted himself to advocating for libertarian values, including shrinking government, and has been a vocal critic of the country’s ruling class.
