Every year, each one of us gives money to the government.
Well, those of us who are working anyways. Some folks take advantage of the rest of us who are paying taxes.
Every dollar collected in taxes represents the hard work and sacrifice of individuals and businesses across the nation.
That is precisely why government has a fundamental duty to be prudent stewards of the resources entrusted to them by the people.
It’s also one of the reasons we as Americans keep a watchful eye on the actions of our government.
We want to know how they’re going to use our money!
And if you haven’t been keeping a watchful eye, then you may not have noticed everything President Biden has been doing recently to use our tax dollars to fund abortions.
One of the most recent examples is with our military, the Department of Defense.
Earlier this year, President Biden began using taxpayer dollars to fund all travel expenses for service members and their families to receive elective abortions.
Currently, the law states that tax dollars can not be used directly for abortions in our military.
The argument from the Biden administration and the left? We’re not paying for abortions directly, we’re just paying for the travel and lodging for people to get abortions. Sick. This is the always conniving, twisted and manipulative logic of the left.
We Americans should not just be spectators on this issue. Not on life.
While many rightly ask what Congress will do in response to Biden’s actions, we must ask what we will do as well. It’s our money they are spending it, like this. And just like slavery, this is not a neutral issue. You can’t just sit this one out.
The U.S. House of Representatives will soon vote on a massive bill to make all sorts of decisions regarding our military. This annual bill is called the National Defense Authorization Act, better known as “NDAA.” And there’s currently no pro-life language in the bill countering Biden’s deceitful actions. But there should be.
Each one of us who are pro-life should be calling our Congressman and telling them that we need to do something here. They need to make sure they sure up what the law currently says.
It is essential that government respects the use of our tax dollars, and it is essential that government respects life, and how, although we do not hear it from the Left, there are alternatives to abortion throughout our heartland. All types of assistance programs where individuals and communities use their time, talent, their treasures to help women in crisis.
So this is so unnecessary to force our military where it doesn’t belong. There are numerous organizations and programs that provide health services to women without resorting to terminating the life.
Since the Dobbs decision, many states are redirecting funds to these services to ensure that women have access to the care they need while respecting the value of life. We can foster a society that respects the dignity and sanctity of every human being, and allow our military to do what it’s supposed to do.
A fighting force. The defense.
So I think on this one you need to call your Congressman, tell them that we need to strengthen language in that bill that keeps abortion out of our military. And keeps our tax dollars out of abortion.

Pro-life organizations are urging House Republicans to repeal an existing Department of Defense policy that provides reimbursement for travel expenses related to military service members’ abortions. The coalition of nearly 50 pro-life organizations and think tanks believes the policy is not legal, and they have asked lawmakers to use the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to end the practice.
Straight Arrow News contributor Star Parker agrees that the government should not be using taxes to fund travel expenses for abortions. She urges people to call their congressmen and keep this kind of funding out of the military.

Trump has an excellent opportunity with Black voters
Former President Donald Trump’s gains with Black voters have narrowed since President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race. Prior to his dropping out, polling indicated that Biden was losing support among Black voters, who had been vital to his 2020 victory. The Trump campaign has been courting Black voters, using the recent Republican…

Biden is wrong to support Supreme Court reform
The Supreme Court’s public legitimacy crisis continues to escalate after it issued a series of major recent decisions perceived by many Americans as overtly partisan, most recently the July 1 ruling in Trump v. Liberals stir fear over Supreme Court immunity decision
In a landmark decision, the Supreme Court ruled July 1 in Trump v. Black Americans should vote for Donald Trump
In the 2020 elections, 92% of single-race Black, non-Hispanic voters cast their ballots for President Joe Biden, while only 8% voted for Donald Trump. That one-sided turnout followed a summer of nationwide protests against police violence largely organized by Black Americans in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, and then-President Trump’s crackdown on those protests…
